Hosted Service
IRMS Hosted Service is a solution that enables clients to have the full functionality of IRMS without a significant investment in infrastructure, and without the need for support from an in-house IT staff. IRMS provides robust medical communication functionality such as the creation and tracking of information requests, document management, letter generation, email/fax/print capabilities, and advanced querying and reporting. IRMS Hosted Service provides all this, requiring only an internet connection.
With IRMS Hosted Service, IRMS runs on servers in OBA's secure data center, but can be used as if it is installed on a local machine or network. Utilizing Microsoft Terminal Services or Citrix as middleware to deploy the IRMS application, this solution delivers exceptional performance and reliability. Each client utilizing IRMS Hosted Service has a separate IRMS database and file store, preventing any unauthorized access to company data, documents, or letters. Print jobs can be directed to local printers, and files can be saved on local machines.
OBA’s exceptional support team is the main point of contact for the support and maintenance of IRMS, the hardware on which it runs, and the network that allows our clients one point of contact. OBA's knowledgeable and highly qualified technical team is available to provide our clients with support for all of their IRMS-related needs. The IRMS Hosted Service solution can also be fully validated in accordance with 21 CFR Part11 requirements.
Online will provide:
- Co-location services in a secure data center in Naperville, Illinois which has SAS70 certification.
- Power via redundant UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) units
- 24/7/365 monitoring of backup generator systems
- Redundant HVAC cooling capacity controlled to (+/-) 2 degrees of 70 degrees
- Full fire detection systems installed above and below all racks in Data Center
- Offsite data storage – locked safe transport of any backup media
- Firewall protection – intrusion detection and prevention systems
- Customized security connection to Data Center based on client requirements
- Connection from anywhere with a Remote Desktop Solution
- Full remote support and hardware management
- On-Site support and maintenance as required
- Additional security as necessary to ensure the protection and confidentiality of client data
